Mountain Remodel-Conifer

Located 30 miles west of Denver atop a rock outcropping at 9,400 ft. elevation, this original 1980’s whole house remodel/addition is reconfigured to capitalize on the tremendous southern views overlooking the valley below and Pikes Peak beyond. A 3 story, metal clad, glazed stair tower addition inserted between the existing house and two story garage provides an indoor connection while reorganizing the house’s vertical circulation. The new contemporary sloping roofs increase the interior heights allowing for larger view windows. The reconfigured 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath floor plan opens up the interior spaces and connect to outdoor decks and patios. All new contemporary exterior finishes include metal and wood siding, stucco and stone veneer. (Photos By Zac Cornwell)
