- A Structural Engineer is required once the initial design is resolved
- Interior Designers, Landscape Architects or Kitchen Designers are utilized at the client's request, if needed

| How do we get started?
- First step is an interview to discuss your ideas and the project type, scope, budget and schedule
- A detailed proposal defining the architect's scope of work and fees is then prepared for your review
- Once the proposal is resolved, a contract is signed
- Design work gets underway

How is the Homeowner involved?
- Bring your ideas, photos, magazines, books etc.for review
- Review design alternatives, make informed and timely decisions in a collaborative process
- Meet on a regular basis to review the design progress
- Provide site surveys, soils reports if required
- Select a General Contractor

- The Design/Documentation phase can take 2-4 months
